The package will contain all five series of Elder Scroll games including Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim as well as various DLC including Skyrim’s Heathfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn. For really avid fans of the series unfortunately you won’t be seeing  An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire  or The Elder Scroll Travels (mobile phone games) feature in this amazing boxset but you will see five physical maps depicting the lands of Tamriel, Iliac Bay, Morrowind, Cyrodiil and Skyrim. A must for any Elder Scroll fan I’m sure you’ll agree.

Zenimax Online also recently released new screenshots of The Elder Scrolls online which will be released in 2014 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Take a look at the screenshots below.

If you’re like me and already own Oblivion, Morrowind, and Skyrim along with the expansions on Steam, this may not be something you are interested in.  But for 80 bucks and the cool box, it may be worth it.  The Elder Scrolls Anthology is out September 10th.

GW2: These Goals Are Not My Own – How to Have Fun Again   Leave a comment

Readers may have detected a touch of ennui and frustration in my last post.

A little thinking helped to narrow down the cause.

It is a basic case of: These goals are not my own.

The past week has been spent in very “reactive” mode. See new update, respond to new update. See achievement to be gotten, rush to get check box completion. See enemy zerg report, rush to defend against enemy zerg.

That is not to say that new content is not welcome, or achievements are no good. It is a question of degrees.

A two-week update period gives me very little time for anything else. The first week is spent !00% focused on the new content and achievements, leaving the second week as emergency back up and farm/grind of content I like that will be disappearing. I’ve maintained a three week schedule would be less hectic (see comments)…

And we, as players, get to ultimately decide who wins the spot on the Council, by collecting support tokens and voting with them.

Ellen Kiel vs. Evon Gnashblade – who do you support?

It’s a pretty neat idea, especially as who you pick will change what we ultimately get in-game – Kiel is promising a waypoint cost reduction for four weeks, whereas Gnashblade will reduce the costs of Black Lion Keys for four weeks. There will also be a new fractal, depending on who…

If you’re looking to complete the ‘daily achievements while supporting a candidate’ achievements quicker, here’s a trick. The set of daily achivements and daily PvP achievements count as separate sets, so completing both sets contributes twice to a  ‘daily achievements while supporting a candidate’ achievement! Remember to have the correct candidate support buff active when you complete the last achievement of a set.

We’ve already got Allison Williams skin envy, style envy and job envy.

And after spotting her at the Robin Hood Foundation Gala in N.Y.C., we added hair and makeup envy to our list as well.

But while we can’t get her access to Naeem Khan and Oscar de la Renta dresses, we can copy her pitch-perfect hair and makeup look, thanks to tips from her pros.
